Continued from Iron Man, Iron Man 2 still tells the story of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) who underwent both identity as Iron Man. Because his identity was known to the government and various parties scramble to get the secrets from Tony Stark's armor. But there is one thing that kept Tony, Iron Shirt creations that are still not stable, so in the near future, battery in the body will die.
The solution to this problem is known only by the father of Tony, and his partner who is also a researcher. Unfortunately, the secret was kept by his father for only Tony knows because the design formula was contested by researchers who are also his father's partner. The point in the movie Iron Man 2 this struggle armor formula, between Tony Stark, the Government, and Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) who continued his father's vengeance to reclaim the formula.
