Reporter Lewis Hicks (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is studying famous murder cases for a story he intends to write when he comes home to find his new girlfriend dead. The investigation turns on Hicks and finds him as the main suspect, so Hicks goes after the killer to try and clear his name.
The Movie is an action thriller starring Cuba Gooding Jr.., Oscar-winning actor of 2007 in the category of Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a comedy movie Jerry Maguire (1996). This time, Cuba Gooding Jr.. act as Lewis Hicks, a reporter investigating the crime that must stop Keene (Neal McDonough), a brutal serial killer before time runs out. Early scenes of this film shows a house in 1999. Inside the house, Keene has just finish off his victim, a middle-aged woman, with sadistic and then take a baby. The next scene is in 2011.
Lewis accidentally discovered diary Keene, who was inside his brain filled with plans to slaughter some people. In its investigation, Lewis found that every trail leads toto the life of an orphan who was 9 years old .
